History
In 1834, a well-known confectionery factory was opened in Brela, and a century later a distillery opened until 1963. In 1997, the confectionery factory was closed, and a year later its building was demolished.

- The Chateau de Brel is a 16th-century castle that currently houses the City Hall
- Church of Saints Hervasius and Protasius (Saint-Gervais-et-Saint-Prothais). The XI century nave in the Romanesque style with the XVI century aisle and the bell tower of the XIX century in the Neo-Romanesque style
