Vitigno

Early career

Born on October 9, 1993 in the dysfunctional area of Rio de Janeiro . He started playing football at an early age in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro ^[2] . At the age of 14, in the section in which he was listed, he was asked to finish with football because of his small stature. Then father Vitigno added his son to the team “ Audax Rio ”, where he was four years later and was noticed by scouts of “ Botafogo ” ^[3] .

Botafogo

In 2011, Vitigno signed a one-year contract with Botafogo, which was renewed five years later. He made his debut for the club on April 23 of the same year in the Carioca League match with Boavista (2: 5), in which he scored a goal ^[4] . But such a relatively successful start to a career in the club did not help the footballer gain a foothold in the main team of Fogao and the player spent the next two years in the youth team, having played only one match of the base during this period ^{[3] [5]} .

In 2013, Vitigno returned to the “base” and helped his club win the Carioca League by scoring five goals in the tournament in fifteen matches. In Brazilian Serie A, the player made his debut on May 26, in a match with Corinthians (1: 1) ^[6] , and scored the first goal 11 days later, at the goal of the Bahia team ^[7] .

CSKA (Moscow)

Confident play Vitigno did not go unnoticed in Europe . In mid-August, four clubs immediately became interested in the player: Turkish Galatasaray ^[8] , Ukrainian Shakhtar ^[9] , Portuguese Porto ^[10] and Russian CSKA ^[8] . It was Moscow CSKA that proved to be the most quick in this fight ^[11] , and the football player himself chose Russia as the place to continue his career ^{[12] [13]} . According to the Brazilian press, the “army” agreed to pay for Vitigno the amount of compensation prescribed in his contract, namely 10 million euros ^[14] . On August 27, the player went to Germany for a medical examination ^[15] . On September 2, the transfer was officially confirmed. The contract is designed for five years ^[16] .

Rentals at the International

Having played 15 matches for CSKA (10 in the 2013/14 season and 5 in 2014/15) and scoring 1 goal (against Torpedo on 2 August 2014), in January 2015 Vitinho was leased to Internacional until the end of the year ^[17] . In the debut match, he scored a double into the goal of “ Sao Jose ” in the framework of the Gaucho League ^[18] . March 18, 2015, scoring a goal in the Libertadores Cup against Emelek , saved his team from defeat (1: 1) ^[19] . In the final rounds of the Brazilian championship in 6 matches he scored 6 goals, which allowed him to take the seventh line in the scorers race (11 goals). Thanks to Vitigno’s successful game, Internacional extended its lease until the end of 2016 ^[20] , and the player himself extended the contract with CSKA until 2020 ^[21] .

The second season for Internacional for Vitigno began with damage in the match with Pasu Fundo, because of which he was unable to continue the game and was forced to leave the field ^[22] . I recovered from the injury a month later, having left for the match against São Paulo from Rio Grande in the state championship of Rio Grande do Sul (Gaucho League) . In total, in this tournament he spent 13 matches, scoring 4 goals, and also won the second trophy with his team. June 19, 2016 in a match against Figueirense issued a double, but this did not save his team from defeat (2: 3) ^[23] .

Return to CSKA

In the winter of 2017 he returned to CSKA. In August of the same year, as part of the Russian Championship 2017/18, he scored the winning goal against Moscow Spartak and helped the team snatch victory in the 85th minute. September 12, scored a goal against the Portuguese “ Benfica ” from the penalty spot (2: 1) in the away match of the Champions League . He scored against her goal on November 22 in the second leg, however, due to the rebound, the goal scored was counted as Zhardel's own goal. December 5, opened an account in the game with Manchester United (1: 2), but the army team failed to keep the winning score. The last time for CSKA Vitigno played on July 27, 2018 in the match for the Russian Super Cup against Lokomotiv. He helped the team win this trophy. Flamengo

On July 28, 2018, Vitigno returned to Brazil , signing a four-year contract with the Flamengo club. The Red-Blacks paid for the transfer of the football player 10 million euros ^[25] . CSKA retained the right to a percentage of the resale of the Brazilian. If Flamengo sells it at a higher price than the amount for which it is signed, Muscovites will receive 10-15% of the profits ^[26] . Also, the Russian club can earn another 2 million euros in bonuses if the player holds more than half of the matches for the Brazilian team next season ^[27] .

On August 30, 2014, Vitigno received a call to the training camp of the Brazilian Olympic team, which was held from September 1 to 10 ^[28] . September 4, Brazil met with Qatar (4-0). Vitigno came on as a substitute in the 56th minute at number 14, and managed to inflict a dangerous shot from the free kick in the 78th minute. March 28, 2015 in a friendly match with the national team of Paraguay (4: 1) scored twice and scored an assist ^[29] .

Being a player of the “youth” of Botafogo, Vitigno most often played the center forward .
