Biography

By origin a Pole, of Evangelical Lutheran worship, a nobleman [1] . He graduated from the natural faculty of St. Petersburg University [2] and the Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg (1885). He served as a military doctor in the 15th Turkestan Rifle Battalion, [1] then, in the 80s, he worked as a doctor in Jizzakh , and from 1891 to 1907 - as a county doctor in Samarkand . [3] . Being in this position, in October 1899, he traveled to Anzor to find out the reasons for the outbreak of an unknown serious illness, he established that it was bubonic plague [4] [5] . He made a significant contribution to the study of the epidemiology of dracunculiasis (Rishty) [6] . He lectured in chemistry, engaged in drawing, carpentry work and carving [1] .

He was a member of the RSDLP, a Menshevik [1] , and participated in the publication of the social-democratic newspaper Samarkand. The Social-Democratic Organization of Samarkand nominated Aframovich as a candidate for the arrested organization’s leader, the chief editor of the Samarkand newspaper, M. V. Morozov . On February 27, 1907, he was elected to the Second State Duma from the non-indigenous population of the Samarkand region. [one]

In the Duma, he was a member of the Social Democratic faction, was a member of the agrarian commission and the commission to receive the premises of the Duma [1] .

The fate is unknown [1] .
