The village is located at a distance of about 1 km from the left, the western bank of the river Yukhot , it is the penultimate settlement of the Myshkinsky district up the left bank of the Yukhoti. Terpilovo stands on the left bank of a stream about 2 km long, which goes around it from the west and south. On the other side of this stream in its mouth stands the village of Volodino . Above Volozhino along the Juhoti stream on the left bank, at a distance of about 1.5 km there is the village Gorodishchi , which is already in the Uglichsky district . Around Terpilovo and Volodino agricultural land, behind which the forests begin. The road from Terpilovo follows the left bank through Ramenye and Kostyurino to the federal highway P104 [2] .
As of January 1, 2007, there were 6 permanent residents in the village of Terpilovo [3] . The village is served by a post office, located in the village Okhotino [4] .
