It is part of the Krevo Village Council [4] .
Located in the southern part of the district on the left bank of the Mirklishka River. The distance to the regional center of Smorgon by road is about 30.5 km, to the center of the village council of the agricultural town of Krevo in a straight line, a little less than 7.5 km. The nearest settlements - Voitashi , Montatishki , Poltovorshchina [5] . The area occupied is 0.2130 km², the length of the borders is 2810 m [6] .
According to the census, the population of Gamzich in 1999 totaled 14 people [7] .
