History
Slavic embankment is known since the end of the XIX century [3] . The etymology of the embankment is connected with the tradition of the 19th century, which claimed that in the vicinity of today's Shuvalov during the eleventh Russo-Turkish war , charity concerts and bazaars were held dedicated to the soldiers of the Russian Moravian Army who liberated the Balkan Peninsula [3] .
Intersections
Slavyanskaya embankment runs along the eastern shore of the Middle Suzdal Lake and is limited to Nikolskaya and Pervomaiskaya streets (in the northern part) and Koryakova street (in the south). Throughout it does not cross other streets.
Transport
Along the Slavyanskaya embankment there is no movement of public urban transport . The nearest metro station is Ozerki on the 2nd (Moscow-Petrograd) line of the St. Petersburg metro . The nearest stops of ground urban public transport are located on Vyborg highway: “Lunacharsky Avenue” (bus) and “Lunacharsky Avenue” (tram). At these points the stop is carried out by public buses following routes No. 109 and 109A; at tram stop "Prospect Lunacharsky" makes a stop tram number 58. West of the Slavyanskaya embankment (on the western shore of the Middle Suzdal Lake) is the railway station " Shuvalovo " October Railway .
