Biography
Representative of the Polish noble family of Tarlo coat of arms " Ax ". The youngest son of the cup-holder of the great crown-crowned Jan Tarlo (? - 1550 ) and Dorota Tarnowska . The elder brother is the governor of Lublin Jan Tarlo (c. 1527 - 1587 ).
He is a supporter of the reformation , but after his death his children moved from Calvinism to the Roman Catholic faith . He served as a nobleman and secretary at the royal court. In 1548 he was appointed to substitute the new Queen Barbara Radziwill ( 1520 - 1551 ), the second wife of the King of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania Sigimund Augustus . In 1553 he became a coronet Sandomierz .
Until 1557, he married Jadwig Stadnicka (d. After 1604 ), from whom he left his only daughter:
- Jadwiga Tarlo (c. 1560 - 1614 ), wife of the Kravchik crown, chestnut of Radom , elder of Lviv and governor of Sandomierz Jerzy Mnishek (c. 1548-1613). Mother of the Moscow Tsarina Marina Mnishek (c. 1588 - 1614/1615).
