Tchaikovsky ( trek. Tchaikovsky ) - a village in the Zhitikarinsky district of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Tchaikovsky rural administration. It is located near the border with the Russian Federation , about 20 km north-northwest (NNW) from the city of Zhitikara , the administrative center of the region, at an altitude of 251 meters above sea level [1] . The KATO code is 394459100 [2] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 1629 people (784 men and 845 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 1676 people lived in the village (783 men and 893 women) [3] .
