There is direct direct communication to Riga and Belarus (Smolensk) directions.
Content
Origin of title
The name given to the surrounding area, which at different times bore the name "Kalitino", "Kalitnikovo", "Kalitniki". According to the legend, Prince Ivan Kalita presented this land to Krutitsky monastery , from which the name originated. However, in the spiritual Kalita there is no village with such a name. Moreover, it is unknown to documents of the 15th — 17th centuries. For the first time this name is found on the plan of 1688: here the river Kalitenka is shown, it is also Kalitnikovsky brook. The form of the name suggests that Kalitniki lived in Kalitniki - craftsmen who made leather bags and purses (gates).
On the map of 1939, the platform was signed as “Horse” [2] .
Until 1989, it was called 4 km, remaining the very last platform in Moscow without a proper name at that time (with the expansion of Moscow such platforms appeared again).
Platform Description
Passenger communication is carried by direct current electric trains . Direct communication is carried out (the most distant points in July 2017):
- On North:
- in the direction from Kalitnikov to the stations: Volokolamsk , Zvenigorod , Kubinka .
- in the direction to Kalitniki from Rumyantsevo , Zvenigorod stations.
- To the south to / from the stations Serpukhov , Tula .
For electric trains there are two ways. Two side platforms, one of which has a carport and a ticket office. Not equipped with turnstiles.
Exits to the Third Transport Ring , Nizhegorodskaya Street , Boensky Passage , Avtomobilny Drive . Kalitnikovskoye cemetery and Rogozhskoye cemetery are located near the station. In walking distance are also Novokhokhlovskaya and Skotoprogonnaya streets.
Driving time from the Kursk railway station is 7 minutes.
