Sergei Mikhailovich Nekrasov (born September 4, 1947 , Pushkin , Leningrad , RSFSR , USSR ) is a historian , culturologist , screenwriter . He is the author of a number of monographs and numerous articles on the problems of museology, the history of Russian culture and social thought of the 18th-early 19th centuries. He is the author of scripts for popular science films and television films, television programs dedicated to A.S. Pushkin , his contemporaries and descendants, Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum and his pupils. Director of the All-Russian Museum A.S. Pushkin . Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ( 2005 ).

Biography
Born on September 4, 1947 in the city of Pushkin (formerly Tsarskoye Selo). He graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. Since 1967 he has been working in museums in Leningrad. Since January 1988 - Director of the All-Russian Museum A.S. Pushkin. Honorary citizen of Pushkin. Married, has a son.
Contribution to the development of the All-Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin
Since 1988 - the time of the inauguration of the Director of the All-Russian Museum A.S. Pushkin S.M. Nekrasov - the museum has changed its status, becoming a particularly valuable object of the national heritage of the peoples of Russia, significantly expanded international relations, replenished funds.
Under the leadership and with the direct participation of S. M. Nekrasov, a member of the State Commission for the preparation and conduct of the 200th anniversary of the birth of A. S. Pushkin, a program for preparing the museum for the Pushkin anniversary (1999) and the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg (2003), developed the Museum Development Program for 2001—2011. [1] , now successfully implemented, the Museum Development Program 2011–2016 was prepared. New expositions created: “A. S. Pushkin. Life and work ”,“ We live in memory of the Lyceum ”,“ Museum of G. R. Derzhavin and the Russian literature of his time ”, which firmly became part of the All-Russian Museum of A. Pushkin, which already had several museum objects in its structure. At present, the museum complex includes 6 literary and memorial museums in St. Petersburg and Pushkin.
The result of the diverse scientific and creative activities of S. M. Nekrasov is the revival of the unique estate of G. R. Derzhavin, fortunately saved by time and fate, and the creation of the Museum-estate of G. R. Derzhavin, which has become one of the true museum and cultural centers of St. Petersburg having all-Russian significance, and a new iconic monument of the city on the Neva.
The World Club of Petersburgers (Club President - M. B. Piotrovsky) in 2011 awarded an Honorary Mark of Conformity and an honorary diploma for achievements in the field of preservation and development of St. Petersburg traditions of urban planning, architecture, synthesis of arts and landscaping of the object “G. R. Derzhavin Museum and Russian literature of his time ”in the nomination“ Creation of a new museum and educational complex based on the reconstruction of a monument of architecture, history and culture ”.
In 2015, the All-Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin received the Golden Diploma of the VI Russian National Prize in Landscape Architecture for the project “G.R.Derzhavin's City Estate” in the nomination “The best realized object of cultural and historical heritage”.
The basic principles of the reconstruction of Derzhavinsky estate and the creation of a museum on its basis are already set forth as the final result in the album-monograph “Museum of G. R. Derzhavin and the Russian literature of his time” (St. Petersburg, 2008 / in Russian and English, reprint. : 2013).

Conducts a lot of scientific and pedagogical work. He introduced into the scientific circulation numerous unknown materials from archives and private collections in Russia and Europe. He made scientific reports at conferences at the universities of Belgrade, Bonn, Paris, as well as at conferences of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) .
For 20 years in the countries of Europe and the USA, in private collections of descendants of lyceum students, he managed to discover numerous handwritten and graphic materials testifying to the life of the Lyceum Abroad [2] . For the development of the topic of lyceum abroad, which was not studied until then, he was awarded the medal of the author of the scientific discovery of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Thanks to the initiative, the energies of S. M. Nekrasov, many unique exhibits from the collection of descendants of A. S. Pushkin and lyceum students entered the museum funds.
S. M. Nekrasov is the initiator and artistic director of the International Lyceum Festival Tsarskoye Selo Autumn and the annual Festival of Russian Poetry of the 18th Century, which have become a notable manifestation of the cultural life of St. Petersburg. On his initiative, a memorial plaque to A. F. Smirdin and writers of the Pushkin circle on Nevsky Prospekt, 22, a monument to G. R. Derzhavin on emb. Fontanka, 118.

Member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). He was elected vice president and member of the Presidium of ICOM Russia, in 1998-2001. He was the representative of Russia in the Committee of Literary Museums (ICLM) of the International Council of Museums.
