History

On the map of Ingermanland, A. I. Bergenheim , compiled from Swedish materials in 1676, is referred to as the village of Sorna [2] .

On the Swedish "General Map of the Province of Ingermanland" in 1704, - as Sårnabÿ [3] .

As the village of Sorna, it is indicated on the “Geographical drawing of Izhora land” by Adrian Schonbeck in 1705 [4] .

The village of Black is mentioned on the map of Ingermanland A. Rostovtsev 1727 [5] .

Manor of Chernovskaya is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of Y. F. Schmitt in 1770 [6] .

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834, it is indicated as the village of Chernaya , consisting of 65 peasant households [7] .

According to a map from the “Historical Atlas of the St. Petersburg Province” of 1863, the village was called Black , and a water mill was located northwest of the village [12] .

According to the statistics on the national economy of Tsarskoye Selo Uyezd in 1888, Chernaya Manor belonged to the local peasant E. Danilov [13] .

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Sosnitskaya volost of the 2nd camp of the Tsarskoye Selo district of St. Petersburg province.

According to the “Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province” for 1905, the Chernaya manor with an area of ​​290 acres belonged to the peasants Efim Danilov and Matvey Yakovlev [14] .

By 1913, the number of courtyards in the village increased to 112 [15] .

From 1917 to 1923, the village of Chernoye was part of the Chernivsky village council of the Sosnitskaya volost of the Detskoselsky district .

The village is located in the eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-361 ( Izvara - Black).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 5 km [22] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Volosovo is 20 km [17] .

The Black River flows through the village. After its confluence in the village with the Izvarka River , the Lemovzha River begins.
