Geography
The village named after K. Turgumbayev is located in the southwestern part of the Auliekol district of Kostanai region. The distance to the district center is 110 kilometers.

History
The village named after Kabidolla Turgumbayev (former state farm “Tselinniy”) was founded in April 1960.
In 1998, by the decision of the regional maslikhat and the resolution of the regional akimat of the Kostanai region, the Tselinny state farm was renamed to the village named after K. Turgumbayev, in honor of Turgumbayev Kabidolla Koblanovich , founder of the Tselinniy state farm, Hero of Socialist Labor [3] .
Population
In 1999, the village population was 1640 people (822 men and 818 women) [4] . According to the 2009 census , 482 people lived in the village (232 men and 250 women) [4] .
The population as of July 1, 2013 is 376 people, including economically active - 162 people. The village is multinational, where more than 7 nationalities live [3] .
