Biography
He graduated from the University of Kolozhvar ( 1896 ) with a specialization in physics, while simultaneously studying music at the city conservatory. In 1898 he moved to Budapest, taught physics and mathematics at the gymnasium, working on his first works. He made his debut as a composer in 1904 with the operetta The Knight of Janos (librarian C. Bacogni, based on S. Petöfi ).
