Location
The village of Vyakhirevo is located in the central part of the Shatura district, the distance to the Moscow Ring Road is about 135 km. Altitude 139 m [2] .
Title
In written sources, the village is referred to as Vyakhirevskaya [3] , later Vyakhirevo [4] [5] [6] . In addition, in the late XIX - early XX century, the village had the second name Pyatovo [4] [5] .
The name is associated with the non-calendar personal name Vihir [7] .
History
For the first time it is mentioned in Vladimir Vladimir Kropotkin's clerical book of 1637-1648. as a village Vyakhirevskaya Tugolessky parish Vladimir district. The village belonged to Ivan Vladimirovich Khoraintsev [3] .
The last owners of the village before the abolition of serfdom were titular counselor Avdotya Petrovna Zorina and princess Georgian Anastasia Grigorievna [4] [8] .
After the abolition of serfdom, the village became part of the Luzgarinsk volost [9] .
After the October Revolution of 1917, the Vyakhirevsky village council was formed as part of the Luzgarinsk volost of the Egoryevsk uyezd of the Ryazan province . The village council included the village of Vyakhirevo.
In 1925, the Vyakhirevsky village council was abolished, and the village of Vyakhirevo was transferred to the Luzgarino village council , but already in 1926, the Vyakhirevsky council was again restored [10] . During the reform of the administrative-territorial division of the USSR in 1929, the Vyakhirevsky village council was abolished, and the village of Vyakhirevo was transferred to the Luzgarinsky village council , which became part of the Shatura district of the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky district of the Moscow region [11] .
