Club career
Garcia is a graduate of the football school of the club Malaga . Since 2010, he played for the reserve team of Atletico Malageno . In the summer of 2013, after a large number of key players left the team, the new coach Bernd Schuster included Samuel in the application for the season [2] . He chose 24 number [3] . On August 17, in a match against Valencia , he made his debut in Lee League [4] . On November 4, in a duel against Betis , he scored his first goal for Malaga - hitting the opponents' goal in extra time, he brought Malaga a victory [5] .
In the summer of 2015, together with his partner in Malaga, Sam Castillejo Garcia moved to Villarreal , signing a contract for five years [6] . On August 23, in a match against Betis , he made his debut for a new team, replacing Roberto Soldado in the second half [7] . September 13 in a duel against “ Granada ” scored his first goal for “Villarreal” [8] .
In the summer of 2016, Garcia moved to the Russian Rubin , to his former coach Javier Gracia [9] . On August 1, in a match against Amkar he made his debut in the Premier League [10] .
At the beginning of 2017, he was leased to Leganes until the end of the season. On January 28, in a match against Celta , Garcia made his debut for a new team [11] .
On August 24, 2017, Samu officially became a Levante player. Rubin terminated the contract with the midfielder by agreement of the parties. The player signed a contract with the Spanish club for 3 years with the possibility of extension for another season [12] . On September 9, in a match against Real Madrid , he made his debut for a new club [13] .
On January 25, 2018, Malaga announced the transfer of Samu. The Spaniard is rented until the summer of 2018. The agreement provides an option to buy back [14] .
