Vasyugan district is an administrative-territorial unit of the Novosibirsk and Tomsk regions of the RSFSR that existed in 1939-1959.

Vasyugan district was formed as part of the Narym district of the Novosibirsk region on April 27, 1939. The center of the district was appointed the village of New Vasyugan .
On August 13, 1944, the Vasyugan district moved to the newly formed Tomsk region.
In 1945, eight village councils were included in the district: Aipolovsky, Vasyugan, May, Novo-Vasyugan, Ognevo-Yarsky, Taiginsky, Tevrizsky and Shmakovsky.
On April 28, 1959, the Vasyugan District was abolished, and its territory was transferred to the Kargasoksky District [1] [2] .
