Player Career
He played the position of a light forward . He studied at the University of Arizona , in 1990 he was selected for the NBA draft under the 38th number by the Seattle Supersonics team, but he did not play a single match for it, since he was immediately resold to the New Jersey Nets club. Later he played for the teams San Antonio Spurs , Golden State Warriors , Chicago Bulls , Detroit Pistons , Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic . In total, the NBA spent 12 seasons. In the 1995/1996 , 1996/1997 and 1997/1998 seasons, Büchler became the NBA champion with the Bulls. In total for the career in the NBA played 720 games in which scored 2385 points (an average of 3.3 per game), made 1266 rebounds , 560 assists , 314 interceptions and 144 blokshot .
Having played one season for the New Jersey Nets , Buechler joined the San Antonio Spurs team, which he spent only eleven matches, after which he settled in the Golden State Warriors , where he scored during the season 6.2 points, 1.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds. In 1994, he signed a contract with the Chicago Bulls team, when Michael Jordan , Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman shone in it. Here he met with his former student partner of the Arizona Wildcats student team, Steve Kerr, and provided the Bulls with the necessary grip between the attack and defense from the bench. At the end of the 1997/1998 season, Büchler left the club along with the leaders, and after a lockout that took place before the start of the next season, he signed an agreement with the Detroit Pistons team, in which he played three seasons, gaining 5.5 games per game during the season. points, 1.1 assists and 2.7 rebounds. Then Jud played a little bit in the Phoenix Suns and the Orlando Magic , and then ended his career in the NBA in 2002 .
