Geography
The commune is located approximately 370 km south of Paris , 85 km south of Poitiers , 39 km northeast of Angouleme [1] .
The Bogniere River, a tributary of the Charente , flows through the commune. From west to east, the commune is crossed by the ancient Roman road Agrippa, connecting Saint and Lyon with Saint-Sibardo and Limoges .
