Club career
He started playing football in 1998 at the Roth football club in St. Leon-Roth municipality and stayed there until the start of the 2003/04 season, after which he went to the Hoffenheim Football Academy. In April 2011 he made his debut for the reserve staff of the club, and at the end of the season he took part in five base matches and scored two goals.
Before the start of the 2011/12 season, he signed a contract with Borussia , calculated until June 30, 2015. The first year he played for the second team. He made his debut on August 6 against the Kaiserslautern and immediately scored his first goal, and on September 10 scored a double against Schalke 04 .
On December 16, 2012, in a match against his native Hoffenheim club, he made his debut for the Dortmund players in the Bundesliga , replacing Mario Götze on the field at the end of the match [2] . In his first season, he spent three matches and became a Champions League finalist, won the Bundesliga silver medals and won the German Super Cup .
