Content
Story
Daryl Poynter is a real estate broker addicted to alcohol and cocaine. One morning, he wakes up and finds in his bed the corpse of a woman whom he met the day before; she died from an overdose. He is also informed that a tidy sum has disappeared from one of his accounts.
To get away from the law, Daryl decides to enroll in a group at a drug rehabilitation center, where he is introduced to Craig, a former drug addict who works as a clinic consultant. He calculates all the tricks of Daryl. After some time, Daryl begins to realize that perhaps he was exactly where he needed to.

The National Society of Film Critics' Awards recognized Keaton the best actor in 1988 for his role in this film and for the Beatlejuice .
