Geographical position

Located 27 km south-east of the city of Bobruisk, Mogilev region. The Mikulichi stop on the Bobruisk-Zhlobin railway line, 3.5 km to the west of the village, is the Telusha railway station. With the highway N10097 Mikhalevo-1-Progress, 1.5 km north of the village, the highway M-5 Minsk-Gomel. Near the village, the Belitsa River flows into the Olu River (the Berezina basin).

History

First mentioned in economic documents in 1560. Since 1565, the village of Mikulichi, Bobruisk volost, Rechitsa district, Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the property of the treasury. In 1621, in the Bobruisk elder, 4 yards. The village of Mikulichi was located on the banks of the Belitsa River, the village of Stallions - in the tract Sukachi. The agricultural land of the villages is limited by the rivers Ola, Belitsa, Zyvets, from the south by the Rodnya swamp. In 1786 there were 19 households in Mikulichi, as part of the Mikhalevo estate, the gentry property of the Radziwills. After the II partition of the Commonwealth in 1793 as part of the Russian Empire.

Since 1795 in the Bobruisk district. In 1816, 22 yards in Mikulichi were owned by the landowners Kelchevsky. 20th Century Political Repression

Political repressions of the mid-20th century swept along the natives of the village of Mikulichi. In the years 30-50, 6 villagers were illegally repressed:

  • Zaitsev Ivan Mitrofanovich, born in 1912 in the village of Mikulichi, worked as a switchman at the Miradino railway station. Repressed and sentenced in 1938 to 10 years. Rehabilitated in 1958.
  • Kapustin Grigory Alekseevich, born in 1884 in the village of Mikulichi, worked on the collective farm “Drummer”. Repressed on December 30, 1932, convicted on January 17, 1933. Rehabilitated January 16, 1989.
  • Kuzmenok Ulyana Gerasimovna, was born in 1912 in the village of Mikulichi, a worker of the Bobruisk furniture factory named after Khalturin. Repressed and convicted in 1944. Rehabilitated in 1945.
  • Pinchuk Nikolay Artemovich, was born in 1898 in the village of Mikulichi. He was repressed on September 8, 1937, and sentenced on November 19, 1937 for 10 years. Rehabilitated on 06/17/1961.
  • Selitsky Mikhail Pavlovich, was born in 1928 in the village of Mikulichi, a student at the vocational school No. 7 of the city of Bobruisk. Sentenced in 1945 to 10 years. Rehabilitated in 1954.
  • Scherbich-Pinchuk Natalya Anufrievna, born in 1916 in the village of Mikulichi, lived in Bobruisk. Repressed on 06/15/1950, sentenced on 10/25/1950 to 5 years. Rehabilitated on 07/01/1991.

Historical Monuments

In the center of the village of Mikulichi at the village cemetery is the mass grave of Soviet soldiers. 9 soldiers of the Red Army were buried, who died in 1944 during the liberation of the Bobruisk region in battles against German troops. In 1972, an obelisk was placed on the grave.

Education

In 1912, a one-class public school operated in Mikulichi (teacher Semyon Pastushenya). In the middle of the 20th century, an elementary school worked. From 1944 to 1951, the director of the school was Maria Kapustina.

Famous Natives

The village of Mikulichi is the birthplace of the Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Denisovich Kapustin. M.D. Kapustin was born on 5.11.1907 in a peasant family. Since 1926 he worked on logging in Siberia. Member of the CPSU since 1941. In the Great Patriotic War from March 1942 on the Volkhov, 3rd Ukrainian and 1st Belorussian fronts. He distinguished himself during the liberation of Ukraine and Moldova. On May 10-11, 1944, in the battles for the Dniester bridgehead near the city of Tiraspol, where the enemy concentrated a large number of infantry, tanks and aviation, the guard, Lieutenant M.D. Kapustin replaced the battalion commander, who retired. Under his command, the battalion fought off the counterattacks of the German troops for two days, destroyed more than 400 German soldiers and officers, 23 tanks and self-propelled guns of the enemy. In mid-July 1944, soldiers of the battalion broke through the German defenses in the area of ​​the village of Milenovichi (west of the city of Kovel). During this battle, M.D. Kapustin personally destroyed 2 machine-gun crews of the enemy. Since October 1944, M.D. Kapustin party organizer of the 137th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 47th Guards Rifle Division. Member of the liberation of Warsaw, fighting for Berlin. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded on March 24, 1945. After the war, he was engaged in economic work in the Irkutsk region, Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk territories of the Russian Federation. Died 8.2.1968.
