Player Career

He played as a point guard . He studied at the University of Marquette , in 1978 he was selected for the NBA draft under the 10th number by the Atlanta Hawks team. He later played for the Cleveland Cavaliers , Los Angeles Lakers , Cardenales de Rio Piedras , Brujos de Guayama , Athleticos de San Herman , Leones de Ponce and Polluelos de Aybonito . In total, the NBA spent 2 incomplete seasons. In the 1979/1980 season, Lee became the NBA champion in the Lakers. In 1978, he became a laureate of the Naismith Prize and Adolf Rapp Prize , and was also recognized as the basketball player of the year among students according to UPI and the Associated Press . In 1977, he became the champion of the National University Sports Association (NCAA) , as well as the most outstanding player in this basketball tournament . Once included in the 1st All-American National Team of the NCAA (1978), and also once - in the 2nd All-American National Team of the NCAA (1977). In February 1980, Lee was seriously injured and was forced to end his career in the NBA due to her relapse in March, after which he returned to Puerto Rico, where he healed for a long time (four years). Coach Career

After completing his professional career as a player, Lee worked as a head coach in Puerto Rican clubs, where he became a well-known and respected coach. He coached the teams Captaines de Arecibo (1992), Indios de Mayaguez (1999), Tiburones de Aguadilla (2001-2002), Gigantes de Carolina (2002-2004) and Cangregeros de Santurtz (2009 ) Club “Captaines de Arecibo” Butch led to the final of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) , but there his team lost in six games to “ Leones de Ponce ” [1] .
