Biography
Born on April 6, 1947 in the village of Ivankovo, Ivanovo Region. In 1969 he graduated from the Tambov Artillery School. Then he entered the Penza Higher Artillery School and graduated in 1977. After graduation, he was appointed as a teacher at the Tula Higher Artillery Engineering School (now TAII ), where he immediately organized a special laboratory for testing underwater weapons; where, under his leadership, in particular, a series of surveys was carried out on the conversion of pistols of SMEs and C4Ms into weapons of combat swimmers [1] [2] . In 1980, he defended his thesis, in 1997 - received a doctorate in the design of highly effective models of underwater small arms. Since 2001, retired, but continues to teach at the TAII.
Create Automatic Weapons
The designer worked on the creation of an automatic two-medium weapon for about 30 years on an initiative basis in his spare time from work. Many details of the weapons were made by the designer himself, assistance was also provided to the TAII authorities and the factories of Tula . As a result of proving tests ( Rzhevsky proving ground ), the ACS showed excellent accuracy in air (higher than the AK-74, AK-105 , M-16A1 and almost as good as the AN-94 Abakan), in underwater position the accuracy was higher than the APS . In addition, the AKC has a two and a half times longer service life than the APS. Based on the design decisions, the designer created a two-medium automatic telephone exchange automatic machine.
Modernization M-16
The designer created a modernized version of the American M-16 assault rifle, capable of firing under water.
