Doctor of Economics, professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine , academician of the Academy of Higher School of Ukraine since 2005. Full member of the Academy of Philosophy of Economics [2] and the Philosophical and Economic Scientific Meeting of the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University [3] .

Biography
He was born in 1949 in Kirovsk of the Lugansk region in the family of a miner.
- 1964-1968 - student of the Dnepropetrovsk Chemical-Mechanical College.
- 1972-1976 - student of the Faculty of Economics of Taras Shevchenko Kiev State University (diploma with honors).
- 1976-1978 - graduate student of the Faculty of Economics of Taras Shevchenko Kiev State University. In 1978 he defended his thesis. In 1999 he defended his doctoral dissertation.
Labor
After graduating from college, he worked on distribution at the potash plant in Stebnik, Lviv region . 2 years he served in the army.
- 1978-1983 - Assistant, Department of Political Economy, Faculty of Economics.
- 1983-1985 - Associate Professor of the same department.
- 1985-2002 - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Kiev National University of Trade and Economics .

He lectures and conducts seminars on the courses "Economic Theory", special courses "Actual Problems of Economic Theory", "Intellectual Property".
Author and scientific editor of more than 250 scientific and educational works, including 10 monographs, 11 textbooks and teaching aids with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Created a scientific school of economics theorists (8 candidates and 2 doctors of economic sciences defended their dissertations) [4] .
