Biography
Christian Lundberg was born on February 6, 1966 in Malmo . In his own words, he grew up in Rosengård , an immigrant district of the city of Malmo . His childhood was difficult: a mother who had schizophrenia , one raised 4 children. Father did not live with his family [2] . In his youth, Christian did not have a permanent place of residence and income, was an active member of the anarcho-syndicalist movement and squat . In the second half of 1980 - early 1990s, he was a member of the Malmeliga poetic group. At the age of 26, after a period of reckless life, he became sober and made his debut as a poet with a book of poems " Through September " (Swiss Genom September, 1991). From the very first book, the author’s interest in Christianity was obvious. In search of a lyrical ethos, he tried several versions of Christian ethics : from the ethics of high church and Catholicism , to the more liberal and radical ethics of universal love (sw. Allkärlekssträvan ). He understands his work as a kind of “ministry”. Later Lundberg called himself a representative of a conservative culture. [3]
After the debut book of 1991, he published many books, sometimes more than one per year, received several awards and prizes. He wrote literary-critical articles for Swedish newspapers. The collection of poems “Work” (Swiss Job ) was nominated in 2005 for the August Strindberg Prize .
In December 2006, it became known that Christian Lundberg wrote a review of a book that was not published [4] . After this incident, he went to work as a day laborer in the port of Malmo . In his book Yarden (Swiss Yarden , 2009), he drew attention to the current situation of the day laborers, who are mostly migrants and modern lumpens . This book was favorably received by critics, withstood many reprints, and made the author one of the prominent successors to the Swedish tradition of the so-called. " Working literature ".
In the books of the poetic prose “Hometown” (Swiss En hemstad ) and “Everything will be love” (Swiss Och allt skall vara kärlek ) Lundberg develops the themes raised in the book Yarden . These books aroused great interest of literary critics and were awarded prizes.

Notes
