Lazarev, Sergey Evgenievich

Since 2002, published in periodicals of the Oryol region. In 2007 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of History of Orel State University , worked as a teacher of humanities in secondary vocational schools in Orel . In 2008, the first scientific article was published in the almanac of the History Department of the Oryol State University "RURIK" (Issue 9). The author of notes on the history of Oryol boxing, including one of the most talented athletes of the 1980s - world-class sports master Mikhail Vasilievich Voropaev. In 2010 he graduated from graduate school at Oryol State University with a degree in Russian History. The supervisor is Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor S. T. Minakov . In 2011 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of historical sciences on the topic "Sociocultural Composition of the Soviet Military Elite 1931-1938. and her assessments in the press of the Russian foreign countries. ”

In 2011-2013, he was a teacher of humanitarian disciplines at the Oryol branch of the Voronezh Institute of Economics and Law. He took part in international, all-Russian and regional scientific conferences devoted to pressing problems of national history, made presentations at them. In 2012, on the basis of his dissertation, he published a monograph of the same name in Voronezh .

In collaboration with the assistant professor of the Kuban State Technological University S. S. Bliznichenko writes about the repression in the Navy .

Member of the Public Association "Council of Young Scientists of Serpukhov" (Moscow region). Member of the Editorial Council and permanent author of the popular science magazine Military History Archive ( Moscow ). He was awarded the public medal "70 years of tank guard."

S. E. Lazarev is the author of more than 100 scientific papers, a third of which are published in leading periodicals included in the List of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. He does not share the point of view of some historians, including his teacher S. T. Minakov , about the existence of a “conspiracy of marshals” in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . He finds one of the reasons for the repressions in the struggle of "fellow-countrymen" groups ("Konarmeytsy", "Kotovtsy", "Primakovsky", "Chapaevtsy", "Shchorsovtsy") for power and privileges in the army. S. E. Lazarev refutes the thesis of a number of authors that repressions did not do much harm to the country. His monograph contains the most detailed study to date of the fate of students of the first set of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army (1936-1938), nicknamed "Marshalsky." S.E. Lazarev revealed in the domestic archives unexpected details of the life of the Marshals of the Soviet Union I. Kh. Baghramyan and L. A. Govorov , diverging from their official biographies. In the works of S. E. Lazarev, the topic of repression in higher education institutions of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army and Navy has been started and is currently most fully reflected. Together with S. S. Bliznichenko, he wrote several works on political “purges” at the Admiral of the Fleet Academy of the Soviet Union N. G. Kuznetsov, covering the period from the 1920s until the death of I. V. Stalin. S. E. Lazarev is studying repression against representatives of various branches of the armed forces (aviators, cavalrymen, sailors, tankmen, signalmen). He wrote the first scientific biographies of the 1st rank commander I.P. Uborevich, Colonel General E. A. Schadenko, divisional commanders D. A. Kuchinsky and D. A. Schmidt, tank lieutenant general G. S. Rodin, general -Leutenant of the technical troops N.I. Trubetskoy, Rear Admiral A.P. Aleksandrov, Major General D.E. Zakutnoy and V.E. Klimovsky, brigade commander M.O. Zyuk (Zyuki) . Following S. T. Minakov, A. M. Kabakov, and A. A. Pozdnyakov, he studied the social thought of the Russian foreign countries and its influence on the internal political situation in the USSR in the prewar years. In the article “In Search of“ Russian Bonaparte ””, published in the “ Military History Journal ” in 2013, S. E. Lazarev put forward the point of view that the “conspiracy of the Marshals” was born in the head of A. F. Kerensky , V. A. Maklakova , G.P. Fedotov and other emigrants who wishful thinking, and this, perhaps, influenced the decision of I.V. Stalin to begin mass repressions against the military.

In 2011, the journal Vestnik Rossiiskoi Akademii Nauk published an article by S. E. Lazarev, " Tukhachevsky and Uborevich - prominent representatives of the Soviet military elite." O. V. Mikhailov, doctor of chemical sciences, professor of Kazan State Technological University, responded to this article, who accused the author of outdating his views on repression and idealization of the heroes of the Civil War . The corresponding review was published in 2012 in the Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences and was called Relapse of Military Mythology.

In 2012, the Bulletin of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences published a review of A. A. Paderin, candidate of historical sciences, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, on the monograph by S. E. Lazarev, “Sociocultural Composition of the Soviet Military Elite 1931-1938. and her assessments in the press of the Russian foreign countries. ” In it, the reviewer noted that in the book “for the first time, the view of that period is shifted from the level of“ general tendencies “(on which all issues are resolved simply: for everything that happened then, the“ bloody maniac ”Stalin bears responsibility to history) to the level of interpersonal relations , and this perspective opens up new possibilities. ”
