Parliamentary elections were held in Slovenia on November 10, 1996 . [1] According to their results, the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia won, receiving 25 out of 90 seats in parliament. Party leader Janez Drnovšek was re-elected as Prime Minister of Slovenia by Parliament on January 9, 1997 .
