The Baku Expo Center [1] ( azerbaijan. Bakı Ekspo Mərkəzi ; Eng. Baku Expo Center ) is an exhibition center located in the capital of Azerbaijan , in the city of Baku . The center is located in the village of Yeni, Surahani, Surahan region , near the Heydar Aliyev International Airport . In addition to exhibitions, the center can hold conferences, seminars, business and leisure events. The official opening took place on June 1, 2010 , when the largest event in the oil and gas industry of the Caspian region, the Caspian Oil and Gas exhibition (Caspian oil and gas) was organized at the Expo Center [2] .

The total area of the complex is 10 hectares, and the building of the Expo Center occupies 3 hectares with a total exhibition area of more than 20,000 m². There are three pavilions for various types of exhibitions. Also in the center are conference rooms, a business center, food courts. The center hall occupies 4000 m². The parking located in front of the building can accommodate more than 500 cars [2] . In 2013, the exhibition area compared to last year increased by 22 percent [1] .
In 2015, the Expo Center plans to hold fencing , taekwondo , table tennis and karate competitions as part of the I European Games [3] .

Exhibitions
International Exhibition of Real Estate and Investments
From November 28 to 30, the Expo Center hosted the International Exhibition of Real Estate and Investments RecExpo, the exhibition took place in an area of 5600 square meters. 70 companies from 14 countries took part in it. Companies from Azerbaijan, Turkey, France, Russia, Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Poland, Georgia presented more than 150 construction projects. The exhibition presented models of residential buildings in Azerbaijan, Georgia, the UAE. [four]
23rd Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition
The 23rd Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition (BIHE-2017) was held on September 28-30 at the Baku Expo Center. The aim of the exhibition is to establish business contacts and exchange of experience between employees of medical institutions, suppliers of modern medical equipment, pharmacists. The exhibition was attended by 104 companies from 19 countries, from Azerbaijan, India, Italy, Iran, Belarus, Germany, China, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Switzerland and other countries.
17th International Exhibition of Oil and Gas
The opening of the Baku Exhibition Center was realized with the 17th Caspian Oil & Gas International Exhibition on July 1-4, 2010. The exhibition was attended by 280 companies from 26 countries. International companies such as Itochu, OMV Gas International GmbH, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Statoil ASA, Total, TPAO occupied more than 40% of the exhibition area. [five]
7th Azerbaijan International Automobile Exhibition
In March 2011, the 7th Azerbaijan International Automobile Exhibition was held for the first time at the Baku Expo Center. The exhibition was attended by 105 companies from 14 countries and regions, such as Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Belarus, Denmark, Italy, Canada, China, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, Germany, Turkey and Japan. The exhibition included sectors such as automobiles, commercial vehicles, automotive parts and accessories for all types of vehicles. [6]
Aguaterm 2017
The 10th Anniversary International Exhibition on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitation, Environmental Technologies, a Pool and Renewable Energy Sources was held in Baku from October 18 to 21. The Baku Exhibition Center welcomed participants from China, Azerbaijan, France, Italy, Iran, Kuwait, Turkey and others. International companies such as Euroclima, Yusiko, BestTechniK, Azertexnolayn, Alarko Carrier Sanayi ve Ticaret, Egeplast Ege Plastik, Turan Makine, Termo ISI , The exhibition was attended by Polimart, Ultratek, Sumgait Technologies Park, Kaskad-Hidro, Yetsan Pazarlama Isi Sistemleri. 11th Azerbaijan International Educational Exhibition
On October 6-8, the 11th Azerbaijan International Educational Exhibition was held at the Baku Exhibition Center, which presented universities, schools, colleges, educational centers of different countries such as Austria, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia. During the exhibition, visitors were presented bachelors, masters and postgraduate courses, foreign language courses, internships and trainings.
