Legislative Election in Slovenia (1990)

Parliamentary elections were held in the Republic of Slovenia in April 1990 . These were the first direct elections held in Slovenia with the end of World War II, and the first relatively free elections held there since 1925 . In fact, the elections were for a transitional period, which ended with a completely democratic election on December 6, 1992 , when Slovenia had already gained its independence . [one]
