Founder and first editor-in-chief of the Bakhmutsky Shlyakh magazine ( Ukrainian Bakhmutsky Shlyakh ) [1] . Member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine (1996) [1] and the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine [2] [3] [4] .
He was repeatedly elected a deputy to the Soviets of various levels [2] . Deputy Head of Administration of the Luhansk region (1992-1994) [1] [2] .

Biography
Yuriy Enenko was born on March 4, 1939 in Kamenny Brod (now Kamennobrodsky district of Lugansk ) [1] [2] . My father led the energy of the Lugansk Machine-Tool Plant .
Yuri entered the Lugansk Medical Institute only from the third time, working between attempts by an electrician at the factory of his father.
In his student years, Yuriy Enenko worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Pathological Anatomy (head, associate professor of medical sciences - Valentin Vasilievich Nestayko) [3] [5] . At this time, he became interested in the biography of his fellow countryman, Vladimir Dahl , whose enthusiasm passed through his life [5] .
In 1964 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Lugansk Medical Institute [1] [2] [3] .
Upon completion of training, he worked as an anesthesiologist at the Luhansk Regional Oncology Center [1] [2] [3] . Already in 1966 he was appointed head of the anesthesiology department [1] .
In 1971, he moved to the thoracic department as an ordinator [1] [3] .
From January 1973 to July 1974 improved his qualifications on the basis of the Pathomorphology Laboratory of the Kiev Academy of. Academician Yanovsky Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Thoracic Surgery [3] . Refused the invitation to stay in the capital and returned to Lugansk.
In 1975, he became the chief physician of the Voroshilovgrad regional oncologic dispensary and a freelance chief oncologist of the Voroshilovgrad region [1] [3] . Under his leadership, on the basis of the regional dispensary, the activity of five departments of the Lugansk Medical University was launched [2] .
In the public garden of the regional oncologic dispensary, Enenko built a gallery of monuments to writers-doctors Vladimir Dal , Steman Rudansky , Anton Chekhov [2] .
In 1991, at the initiative of Enenko, a hospital temple of Panteleimon the Healer was built at the Luhansk Regional Dispensary [2] [3] .
In 1992, Yuri Enenko was elected deputy of the Lugansk Regional Council.
In 1992-1994 he was deputy head of the administration of the Luhansk region [1] [2] [3] . In this post he was in charge of social and humanitarian policy [2] [3] .
Being on administrative work continues to engage in medical and scientific activities [1] . These years [ clarify ] Yuri Enenko prepared and defended his thesis on the topic "Resuscitation pathology during cardiopulmonary resuscitation" [2] .
Since 1994, he created and edited the almanac of the Luhansk regional organization of the Union of Writers of Ukraine “Bakhmutsky Shlyakh” ( Ukrainian Bakhmutsky Shlyakh ) [2] [3] .
Yuri Alekseevich Enenko died within the walls of his own clinic from a common cancer on October 30, 1996 [1] [2] .

Daughter - Elena also became a doctor, headed a hospice at the base of Lugansk Regional Oncology Dispensary.

Memory
A bust of Yuri Alekseevich Enenko was installed on the territory of the Luhansk Oncologic Dispensary [2] . The clinic has created a room-museum of Yuri Enenko [2] .
In Lugansk there is a regional charitable foundation named after Yuri Enenko [6] , which annually holds a competition in honor of the memory of the doctor Enenko called “Fight and fight”, where the main idea was the desire to help people spiritually [7] .
