Radle ob Dravi ( Slovenian. Radlje ob Dravi ) is a settlement and community in the northern part of Slovenia , in the historical region of Lower Styria , and is also part of the statistical region of Koroshka . The population of the entire community according to the 2002 census is 6,148.

Title
The name of the Marenberg settlement was changed to Radle ob Dravy in 1952 . This was done according to the Law of 1948 on the names of settlements and the names of squares, streets and buildings, as part of the efforts of the post-war communist authorities of Slovenia to remove German names among toponyms. Attractions
The parish church in Radle ob Drava is dedicated to St. Michael and belongs to the Archdiocese of Maribor . This Gothic church of the XV century, which was restored at the beginning of the XVIII century in the Baroque style . [3]
The large Baroque building at the western end of the settlement used to be a Dominican monastery . It was founded in 1251 and was a major landowner in the area. After the expropriation of the lands of the monasteries by the Austrian Emperor Joseph II , the monastery church in honor of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary was demolished. [four]
