Biography
Born and received primary education in Mush. He was a student of Vardan Areveltsi [3] . Education continued in Khor Virap . He was fluent in Latin and Greek . At the invitation of the princes, Proshyanov moved with his students to Vayots Dzor , where he founded the University of Gladzor [4] . Shortly before his death, he appointed Esai Nchetsi as his successor and rector of the University [2] . He died in the year 1284 in Gladzor [4] .
