Biography
Dmitry was born in the family of a Soviet officer who served in Germany . The family returned to their homeland, in Transnistria . In school years he was engaged in many sports - boxing , tennis , baseball .
He studied in Tiraspol in the School № 2 named after V. Dolgin under the guidance of the coach of the highest qualification category Moiseenko Alexander Igorevich. He played for the Moldavian athletics team and is the champion of Moldova in javelin throwing. (74.78 m.)
After leaving school he moved to Moscow , where he began to train with Mikhail Mikheev. Champion of Russia 2013.
At the 2011 World Championships in Daegu with a score of 79.06, he was 10th.
Due to injuries, I did not get to the 2012 Olympics in London .
Bronze medalist of the 2013 World Cup in Moscow with a score of 86.23 m.
Personal life
Married to Maria Abakumova , Russian lance thrower, 2011 world champion . Has two twin girls: Milan and Cyrus, who were born on June 17, 2014.
Younger brother Maxim Tarabin is also an athlete.
