Kazakhstan Tennis Federation

Kazakhstan Tennis Federation ( English Kazakhstan Tennis Federation, KTF) is an organization responsible for tennis issues in Kazakhstan : training judges, holding tournaments, developing children's tennis. For the last goal in 2008 in Kazakhstan was created the project TeamKazakhstan, which aims to cultivate young talents [1] . The head office of the federation is located in Astana ; there are branches in 12 regions of Kazakhstan, as well as in the cities of Astana and Almaty .

Among other functions of the Federation is the establishment of relations with tennis federations of other countries and international tennis organizations. He is a member of the and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) , with five votes in the latter.

Since 2007, the president of the organization is Bulat Utemuratov . According to him, “there were no real stars behind which juniors would stretch to Kazakhstan,” in connection with which Russian tennis players — Mikhail Kukushkin , Andrey Golubev , Yaroslav Shvedova — were invited to play for the country [2] .

Tournaments

In Kazakhstan, under the auspices of the Tennis Federation, the following competitions are held [3] :

  1. Cup of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  2. Gold series
  3. Futures Series Tournaments
  4. Challenger Series Tournaments
  5. ITF Tournaments for boys and girls
  6. Tournaments ATFfor boys and girls
  7. Mandatory Tournaments
  8. Summer and Winter Championships of Kazakhstan
  9. Youth Championships
