20 km race for men at the 2013 World Athletics Championships was held in Moscow on August 11.
Russian athlete Alexander Ivanov won his first gold medal in the world championships.
Of the three winners of the 2012 Olympic Games at this distance, two ( Wang Zhen and Eric Barrondo ) were removed from the race for three warnings from the judges, and Olympic champion Chen Ding received two warnings and was forced to slow down, eventually taking second place.
Alexander Ivanov is the winner of the competition.
