The village is located in the southern part of the Pokrovsky rural settlement, in a marshy edge remote from the main roads. The area around the village was transformed by land reclamation works and covered with a network of ditches and canals that divert water to the Koyka River flowing to the south-east of the village and to the Voloshka River flowing to the north-west, the Kormitsa tributary. From the village in the north-west direction there is a road passing through Tarbino , Poluevo , Grigorkovo and going north from the village of Nikolskoye to the P104 road on the Uglich - Rybinsk section . As of January 1, 2007, there was no resident population in the village of Tarbino [3] . The post office located in the village of Pokrov serves 3 houses in the village of Tarbino. [four]
