Yannis Christopoulos (November 12, 1972, Kalamata , Greece ) is a Greek football player and football coach.

Christopoulos was the eldest son in the family, his mother wanted him to become a scientist, a mathematician or a naturalist, but Yannis chose football. He made his debut as a team from his native city, Kalamata , later moved to Pamisos Mesini , and ended his career with Astera Lixuori.

After the end of his football career, Christopoulos began working in 1999 as a football coach ^[2] . In the beginning, he coached youth teams, then worked as an assistant coach in senior teams.

On June 17, 2013, he signed a one-year contract with Tavria from the Ukrainian Premier League ^[3] . During the first half of the season, Tavria remained in the relegation zone. Before the winter break, the team still took the salutary 14th place, but only thanks to the cessation of the Arsenal speeches. December 26, 2013 Christopoulos was dismissed from the club ^[4] .
