Cante chico, Cante chico (Spanish, lit. "small singing", that is, singing in a "low", simple style) is a class of flamenco music and poetry, its latest and most popular layer. A synonym for cante chico is cante flamenco (the same phrase often refers to the whole variety of flamenco styles). In the modern classification of flamenco, “small / low singing” is stylistically opposed to “large / high singing”, cante hondo (Spanish cante hondo).
Kant chico includes alegría, bulería, farruca , tango , malagueña, solearilla, solevilla, sevillana, fandango afame Flamenco Fandango ) and other genres.
