Geography

The village stands on the west side of the federal highway P104 , at a short distance from the right bank of the Volga ( Rybinsk reservoir ), on the right, north bank of the Volga tributary not mentioned on the map. Upstream of this creek, on the east side of the road is the village of Sosnowiec . To the east of the village there is a vast forest 4-5 km wide from the Volga, behind which Kraskovskoe and Shalimovskoye bogs begin . On the edge of the swamp in the upper reaches of the same stream stands the village of Shalimovo . On the opposite southern bank of the stream stands the village of Vysotskaya [3] .

History

In 1965, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the village Negdeyaevskoye was renamed Rechnaya [4] .

The village of Ngodyaevka is indicated on the 1792 plan of the General Survey of Rybinsk district .
