Geographical position
The city is located in the western part of the governorate, south of the Jebel Seman mountain range, at an altitude of 282 meters above sea level [2] .
Gerablus is located approximately 21 kilometers east-north-east (ENE) from Aleppo , the provincial capital, and 290 kilometers north-north-east (NNE) from Damascus , the country's capital.
Population
According to the official census of 2004, the population of the city was 10,657 people.
