The building of the city clinic was built in 1938. The author of the building is Kalmyk architect S. A. Khazykov.
On May 7, 2009, the building of the city polyclinic was included in the register of cultural heritage of the Republic of Kalmykia (No. 289).
The building is a transitional form from constructivism to a new style, which emphasizes the strict symmetry and decorative elements of the main facade. Constructivist elements remained only on the side wings of the building in the form of round and rectangular decorative elements.
