Auc district

Auč district ( Latvian: Auces rajons ) is a former administrative district of the Latvian SSR .

History

Autsi district was formed by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Latvian SSR of December 31, 1949 [1] .

The district consisted of the cities of Auce , Bensky, Bukayshsky, Vadakstsky, Vetsautsky, Vitinsky, Ilsky, Lielautsky, Penkulsky, Rubsky, Ukrsky and Yaunautsky village councils. The district center was the city of Auce [2] .
