The 47th Special Purpose Airborne Brigade ( 47th Adbron ) is a military unit of the Air Force in the Red Army of the Armed Forces of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics .

Content
Background
The appearance of the brigade was preceded by the history of the development of airborne units of the air force. On January 5, 1932, the Revolutionary Military Council of the USSR discussed the question "On the airborne landing squad of the Leningrad Military District." It was decided to create in 1932 in the Leningrad, Ukrainian, Belorussian and Moscow military districts one full-time airborne landing detachment . The size of the detachment was to be 144 people. On December 11, 1932, the Revolutionary Military Council of the USSR (hereinafter referred to as the USSR Revolutionary Military Council) adopted a decree on the deployment of an airborne brigade based on the 3rd airborne detachment of the Leningrad Military District, whose tasks were also to train instructors in airborne training and to develop operational tactical standards. The RVS of the USSR also decided to form by March 1933 one airborne detachment in the Belorussian , Ukrainian, Moscow and Volga districts. [one]
In 1933, the 2nd Special Forces (Battalion) was formed in the BelVO. [2]
History
1936 year
On the basis of full-time and non-standard airborne units, special-purpose airborne brigades were created in the Kiev and Belorussian military districts. [one]
In the Belarusian Military District (hereinafter BelVO), the 47th Special Purpose Airborne Brigade is being formed in the village of Borovsky . A.F. Levashov was appointed commander of the brigade. [1] , [3] , [2]
The composition of the brigade: 1, 2, 3rd parachute battalions of 500 people each and special forces. [four]
The sergeant and rank and file were called up for military service in accordance with the Law on Compulsory Military Service, approved by the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR on August 13, 1930. [one]
The paratrooper soldiers were armed with Soviet-made parachutes PL-1 (pilot parachute) and PT-1 (training parachute), designed by M. A. Savitsky, and PL-3, designer N. A. Lobanov. [one]
September. Combined airborne assault was used on BelVO maneuvers. Initially, the 47th hadron parachuted. Then a landing was made by landing in the airfields of tanks, artillery pieces and other military and transport equipment. A general assessment of the leaders of the maneuvers - the commanders and staffs of the airborne assault units successfully coped with preparing the troops for landing, commanding them during the battle, after landing. Foreign observers from England, France and Czechoslovakia praised the actions of the paratroopers. [one]
At the end of the year, the staff of the Red Army Airborne Brigade was approved, according to which it included a mechanized mechanized battalion - 189 people, 6 45-mm guns , 18 82-mm mortars , 24 T-37A tanks, 9 D-8 armored vehicles , 32 vehicles and 6 motorcycles . [five]
December 30th. By order of the People's Commissar of Defense, the Interim Field Charter of the Red Army (PU-36) was put into effect. [one]
1938 year
In the summer, the reformation of the 47th adbron into the 214th airborne brigade began, with the withdrawal of the Air Force from them and the introduction of the Ground Forces.
On June 10, from the squadrons of the 47th adbron at the Borovskoye airfield (7 km southeast of Pochinok / 60 km southeast of Smolensk), the formation of the 3rd heavy bomber aviation regiment on TB-3 aircraft began. [3]
On July 26, 1938, the Belarusian Military District was renamed the Belarusian Special Military District.
Of the remaining ground units, units of the 47th hadron, the 214th BelVO airborne brigade is formed in the city of Maryina Gorka. A.F. Levashov was appointed commander of the brigade. [1] , [6] , [3]
