He took part in the war with France . On August 13, 1798, as part of the squadron of Vice Admiral F.F. Ushakov, he left Sevastopol for Constantinople for joint action with the Turkish fleet against France. The United Russian-Turkish fleet on September 20 left the Dardanelles Strait in the Archipelago [3] .
On October 13, as part of the Russian fleet squadron, he took part in the landing on the island of Zante [4] . Then, at the head of the detachment under the command of Captain 2nd rank Poschochin, he separated from the fleet and came to the island of Kefalonia , where on October 17 he landed an assault force of 180 people, who took the fortress with almost no resistance. During the occupation of the island, 53 copper and cast-iron guns were captured, a large number of ammunition, as well as more than 200 people of the French garrison were captured [5] .
On October 29, the detachment was sent from Kefalonia to Corfu to strengthen the detachment of Captain 1st Rank I. A. Selivachev, where he arrived on October 31. Upon arrival, the ships joined the detachment leading the blockade of the fortress [4] [5] .

In July 1799, after the departure of the Russian squadron, the ship, as part of the detachment of A.P. Aleksiano, was left to Corfu to repair and protect the fortress. On July 6, 1800, as part of the squadron, F. F. Ushakov left Corfu for Russia and by October 26 approached Sevastopol [4] , but was unable to enter the bay in the dark and was forced to head to Feodosia, where he arrived the next day [3 ] .
In 1804, as part of the captain’s 1st rank detachment, G. G. Belli delivered troops from Odessa to Corfu, while flying under the trade flag, and the guns were loaded into the hold [4] .
On October 5, the ship returned to Sevastopol , where it was dismantled according to some sources in 1804 [3] , and according to others - in 1806 [4] .
