Rhaptothyreidae (Latin) is a family of marine nematodes from the monotypic order Rhaptothyreida [1] ( Enoplea ). 2 types [2] .

Spread
North and South Atlantic, southeastern Pacific Ocean (at depths from 800 to 4600 m) [3] .
Description
Deep sea roundworms, mouth is absent, therefore trophic status remains unclear [4] . Length from 3 to 12 mm [5] [6] . Earlier, the Rhaptothyreidae family was included in the order of the marine nematode Marimermithida [7] [8] .
