Lee Agnew ( born January 13, 1971 , Dunfermline , Scotland ) is a Scottish drummer, percussionist and songwriter. Best known as a member of Nazareth .

Biography
Born January 13, 1971 in the Scottish city of Dunfermline in the family of Peter Agnew - the bass player of the Nazareth band.
He received his first drum lessons from Ronnie Dalrymple [2] .
He played in the bands Iron Hoarse and Dougie McClain Band [2] .
On April 30, 1999, Nazareth drummer Darrell Sweet died unexpectedly. Overwhelmed by the tragic event, the group canceled the tour and returned to Scotland. The future of Nazareth remained unclear for the next few months. After several meetings, the group decides that Darrell would not want them to break up. As a tribute to Darrell, the group chose Lee Agnew, the eldest son of Pete, to replace Nazareth [3] . Thus, since August 1999, Lee Agnew has been the drummer of the group [2] .
