Jozef Dzierzkowski , pseudonym of Bolest (January 11, 1807, Ksaverov - January 13, 1865) - Polish writer and journalist . The forerunner of Lviv Bohemian literature.

Biography
A participant in the November uprising, with the rank of lieutenant, he served as an adjutant in the headquarters of General Jozef Dvernitsky . After the uprising for several years, the donkey in the Hutsul region , from where he returned to the city.
During the Spring of Peoples of 1848, he was the publisher and editor-in-chief of The National Newspaper. Then, he was engaged in political activities and journalism. He was one of the organizers of the National Council of Lviv and the National Guard.
In 1858-1861 he was co-editor of the Universal Review.
In 1864 he was sentenced to three months in prison due to political and journalistic activities. As a result of health complications in prison, he died on January 13, 1865.
