Club career
Monaco
Born in Marseille, France , Sagbo began his football career playing for the local club Buk-Bel-Air before moving to Monaco during the winter of 2004. In the 2007/08 season with the Monaco double, he won the French amateur football championship (tournament among the French professional clubs' doubles), scoring 13 goals in 25 matches. After the end of the season on May 13, 2008, he signed his first professional contract with Monaco until 2011.
He officially joined the first team in the off-season in July 2008, he received a t-shirt with the ninth number. Sagbo played three matches during the pre-season, all from the first minutes, including a friendly match against an opponent for Ligue 1 , Toulouse ; Croatian club " Zagreb " and " Olympic Marcel ". He made his debut at a professional level on November 8, 2008 in a match against Olympic Lyon , which was lost with a minimum score. Coming to replace, Sagbo played 17 minutes [3] .
Hull City and Wolverhampton Rentals
On July 26, 2013, just a few months after the 25th anniversary, Sagbo signed a two-year contract for an unnamed amount with Hull City [4] . He made his debut in “Halle” on the first day of the 2013/14 season, he played the entire match, but failed to prevent a 2-0 defeat against Chelsea [5] . On August 24, 2013, in a match against Norwich City at Key Sea Stadium, after a corner, the hosts unsuccessfully asked the referee to award a penalty, this led to a confrontation, in which Sagbo was recognized as one of the main culprits and received a direct red card, apparently for aggressive behavior [6] . On October 19, 2013, in an away match against Everton , Sagbo entered the field instead of injured Danny Graham , who was carried out on stretchers after Gareth Barry rolled and scored his first goal for the club with a Sonone Aluko feed in the 30th minute, however it was only prestige goal, his team lost with a score of 2: 1 [7] . On April 13, 2014, he scored Hull's first goal in the Cup of England semi-final match against Sheffield United at Wembley Stadium . The Sagbo team won with a score of 5: 3 [8] . In the final match against Arsenal, Sagbo did not enter the field.
At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, Sagbo played only one match for Hull in the League Cup . Due to disagreements with the management of the "tigers" in September 2014, he joined the Champion Club, Wolverhampton Wanderers , on loan terms, the lease term was three months [9] . He made his debut for the club on October 1, 2014 in a lost match against Huddersfield Town [10] . Sagbo went for a replacement three times, then completely dropped out of the main team, coach Kenny Jackett referred to the lack of proper fitness and the player’s failure to earn more time on the field [11] . On November 13, he was again called Hull City two months before the end of the lease term [12] . Jackett subsequently suggested that this was a mutual decision of the clubs [13] . The Sagbo contract with Hull City expired at the end of the 2014/15 season, the club decided not to renew the agreement.
International Career
Sagbo was invited to the Benin national team on May 30, 2008 for the match against Angola [14] . On August 10, 2010, he made his debut in the national team of Côte d'Ivoire in a friendly match against Italy in Boleyn Ground . He entered the field in the 61st minute instead of Seydoux Doumbia . Côte d'Ivoire won with a minimum score of [15] .
