The village is located between the highway leading from the locks of the Rybinsk reservoir to the center of the rural settlement, the village of Kamenniki , and the western shore of the Kamennikovsky peninsula. South of the locks, without crossing the Volga , is the Volzhsky microdistrict. The road crosses the Volga through the locks and leads to the Perebori microdistrict and to the central part of Rybinsk . Provided with regular transport, this road provides convenient access for villagers to the city of Rybinsk and its microdistricts. On the northern outskirts of the village is the highest point of the Kamennikovsky Peninsula 115.8 m [2] .
As of January 1, 2007 in the village of Ugol there were 41 permanent residents, this is the largest settlement in the settlement, with the exception of the central village [3] . A post office located in the village of Kamenniki serves 89 houses in the village of Ugol [4] .
