Biography
Since 1997, he began to engage in fencing.
In 2007, Veniamin Reshetnikov took third places at the Universiade (in the individual and team championships) and as part of the team became the European champion. In 2009, he won first places at the Russian Championship and European Championship, in 2010 at the World Championship he took 3rd place in the individual competition and 1 in the team, in 2011 he won first place at the World Championships as part of the team. In 2012, Veniamin Reshetnikov as a member of the team took 1st place at the European Championships, but at the Olympic Games in London he could not win medals, but in 2013 he became the champion of Russia, the world champion and won two Universiade medals (3rd place in the individual competition and 1 - as part of a team).
Veniamin Reshetnikov won the European Fencing Champion 2019 in men's saber during the tournament in Dusseldorf (Germany)
